A 'DISGUSTED' customer whose new tin of paint spilt over the back of her car was at fault - not the store she bought it from, say readers.
Cheryl Barlow had only just bought the Dulux tin from Homebase in Blackpole, Worcester moments before it tipped over in her footwell, sending paint pouring across the back of her car.
She estimates she was driving at under 30mph when heading straight on at a city roundabout when the paint tipped over and the lid popped off as a deluge of Dulux flooded her car on Tuesday.
Today Mrs Barlow said her issue was more with the 'rude customer service' than the paint spilling over in her car.

However, not all readers thought Homebase was to blame with some arguing the customer was at fault.
Charlie Freeman wrote on the Worcester News Facebook page: "I think the customer did well to get a refund on the paint considering the contents of the tin were strewn across the back of her car!
"I've been buying paint from that store since the days Texas Tom pounded up and down those aisles (yes, a long time ago!) and I've always secured the tins in the boot of whichever car I've had, disaster waiting to happen otherwise!"
Also writing on the page was Janet Wiggins. She wrote: "Why not put it in a bag in the boot with the rest of the paint, just the one tin left to fall over in the back of the car crazy. Surely she checked the lid when she put the tin in the car."
Anna Steele said: "How one chooses to secure one’s paint is the responsibility of that individual. Had the store staff packed it into the car then perhaps there would be cause to complain.
"Consider bagging the paint, perhaps wrapping the lid tightly on with tape, maybe even wedging it the car somewhere."
Jack Forster wrote: "No use crying over split paint."
Louisa Iona said: "It is the customers' responsibility to make sure the product is not faulty before leaving the store then it is their responsibility to make sure it's securely fastened."
Mrs Barlow had wanted to decorate her bedroom and bathroom so headed to Homebase in the Elgar Retail Park on Tuesday afternoon to pick up paint and rollers, spending more than £100.
The 45-year-old of Norton, Worcester, said after leaving the store with her purchases she drove along Cotswold Way towards Brindley Road (near the Tesco store) and was going straight on at the roundabout when she heard 'a thump in the back of my car', turned her head and 'did a double take'.
The Dulux Rock Salt filled both footwells in her Hyundai i20. She phoned her husband who advised her to go back to the shop straight away, calling first to let them know what had happened. She was kept on hold for five minutes and was told she could come into the store but 'it's your responsibility once the paint has left the shop - it's nothing to do with us', Mrs Barlow said.
When she returned she says the same woman who served her before said: "I knew it was going to be you!"
Mrs Barlow, who has been shopping at Homebase for 25 years, said: "I will not shop there again."
