A WORCESTER man allegedly made multiple indecent images of children and violated a sexual harm prevention order by accessing the dark web.
Christopher Harper, 64, allegedly made category A indecent photographs of a child on three separate occasions between Tuesday, June 1 2021 and Thursday, July 1 2021.
Harper, of Homestead Avenue, also allegedly accessed the dark web between the same dates by downloading the 'Tor' application, which he was prevented from doing by a sexual harm prevention order made by Worcester Crown Court on Friday, November 29 2013.
Tor, short for "The Onion Router," is free and open-source software for enabling anonymous communication.
Harper is set to appear at Worcester Magistrates' Court on Thursday, April 13 at 9.30am.
