FOUR men were arrested in Worcester on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, threats to kill and theft of a motor vehicle
A dramatic scene was seen in Worcester on Wednesday, April 5, as armed police were spotted in Worcester city centre.
Police have now confirmed that four men, aged 18, 19, 24 and 26, were arrested and bailed.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Shortly after 10pm on Wednesday, April 5, we received reports of a group of four men with weapons around the city centre and Rainbow Hill areas of Worcester.
"Three men, aged 18, 19, 24 and 26 were arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, threats to kill and theft of a motor vehicle.
"They have since been released on bail while the enquiries continue."

Police vehicles, dogs and officers with weapons were seen in Lowesmoor at the time of the arrests.
An eyewitness said at the time: “Two men were pulled out of a shop on Wednesday night by armed police.
“One was lying down in the middle of the road under gunpoint and the other was held to the side by an unarmed officer.
“Several police dogs were present, being walked up the road while it was being blocked off.”
