A THIEF stole a bag from a worshipper at Worcester Cathedral during communion on Easter Sunday.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "At around 1.40pm on Sunday, April 9, officers received a report of a theft of a bag at Worcester Cathedral in Worcester.
"Investigations are currently on going.

A member of the public, who wished to remain anonymous, suggested that multiple items such as wallets and phones were taken on the day.
They said: "People have had their stuff taken from their bags whilst getting communion during the Easter service at Worcester Cathedral.
"Wallets and phones were taken."
The Reverend Canon Dr Stephen Edwards said staff at Worcester Cathedral are praying for those affected.
He said: "There was an incident at the Cathedral on Easter Sunday morning and the police were informed.
"We hold those affected in our prayers."
