This was the dramatic scene as armed police were spotted in Worcester city centre.
Police vehicles, dogs and officers with weapons were seen in Lowesmoor on Wednesday evening (April 5).
An eyewitness said: “Two men were pulled out of a shop on Wednesday night by armed police.
“One was lying down in the middle of the road under gunpoint and the other was held to the side by an unarmed officer.
“Several police dogs were present, being walked up the road while it was being blocked off.”
We have asked West Mercia Police for more information.
