A spokesperson for the event said: "It goes straight to the heart of what the carnival is all about – a celebration of everyone we call our neighbours in the city of Worcester.
"We want it to be a carnival for future generations to remember.
"One that includes the breadth of the Worcester community and makes a positive impact on the world around us."
The charity event is urging performers and traders to apply and take part in the festivities and is offering the opportunity for applications for those aged six to eight to be in attendance.

The parade will be making its way through the streets, and traders can set up a stall or a pitch at Carnival Village on Pitchcroft Racecourse.
Traders will be selling artisan food, drink, or crafts for visitors to enjoy.
Last year's theme for the carnival was celebration and over 30 different groups took to the streets to take part.

The crowd was wowed by dancers, street entertainers, and costumed characters.
An array of performances also took place at The Guildhall last year.
Onlookers watched a street dance performance by Beak Breakerz, followed by a King Charles impersonator.
A Carnival Committee member added: "We can’t wait to see how the city rises to the challenge with surprising and inspiring entries to this year’s parade.
"Floats, walking groups, dancing, and a fair few wild and wonderful artistic creations."
Worcester Carnival hopes to bring colour to the city’s streets on Saturday, July 1 at 3pm.
