THESE dramatic photos show the aftermath of a car fire after the owner says it was stolen and burnt out.
The blaze destroyed the car in Suckley, near Malvern last night (Thursday), leaving the owner 'livid' as he seeks more information about the alleged attack.
The mint condition 1989 Mk2 Volkswagen Polo bread van had been lovingly restored by the owner, Cam Whatmore.
He understands the vehicle was stolen from his unit in Suckley.
Mr Whatmore, of Malvern, who has reported the matter to West Mercia Police, said the vehicle was stolen and burned out at 11.27pm last night with the fire service arriving at 11.45pm
He said: "I’ve got £4,000 and hundreds of hours in it, that vehicle was mint it was my project car."
Mr Whatmore added: "My Polo was stolen and burnt out a mile from my unit."
We have approached West Mercia Police and the Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service for a comment.
Anyone with information should call police on 101.
