The following cases were heard at Worcester Magistrates Court recently.
Daniel Lloyd, 25, of Duke of Edinburgh Way, Malvern, who went on the run after cutting off his ankle tag was jailed by Worcester magistrates.
The court heard Lloyd removed the police GPS tag worth £40, which he was wearing after prison release on September 21.
On September 22 Lloyd was notified he was wanted on recall to prison, but the defendant deliberately ignored that request.
On September 28 Lloyd made a phone call to the Worcester News to say he would 'hand himself in when he was ready' following a media appeal by West Mercia Police who were carrying out the manhunt.
Lloyd was given four-month custody.
