AN investigation has been launched following complaints of a Worcester restaurant's "inconsiderate" firework parties.
La Nasu on Tolladine Road has been accused of breaching its licence by residents who say they host noisy parties every week.
But the restaurant says it's doing nothing wrong and will keep hosting its parties, which they believe the business' licence allows.
The restaurant -located in the middle of a housing estate - is currently licensed to stay open until 1am on weekends.
Oana Petre, the owner of La Nasu, said the business is acting within the licence.
Ms Petre said: "We do have parties, but it is on our licence, and we asked about the fireworks, and we understood we could do this.
"I feel really sorry for everything, but we have done nothing wrong.
"Every weekend till 1am, we will be like this."
She said they have spoken to neighbours in the past, and they were happy with the noise and sometimes attended the parties.

Edward Kimberley, activist and Labour candidate, said he had been listening to residents' complaints and gathering evidence.
He said: "I have spoken to several people who, as you can imagine, are not happy to be woken up in the middle of the night.
"I have been told some residents have seen people leave the premises after the designated time.
"It is inconsiderate for anyone to let off fireworks in a tightly packed residential area."
Mr Kimberley added that he also heard the fireworks late at night but had not known the source of the noise.

La Nasu went live on Facebook on Friday (March 17) to show a firework display outside the venue connected to Altaf Grill House.
However, Cllr Mohammad Altaf, who owns the building and is the ward councillor, said the fireworks were from Christmas.
The Facebook post has since been removed.
A spokesperson for Worcester City Council said: “We have recently been made aware of noise concerns relating to these premises, which are currently being investigated by officers.

"If any members of the public have similar noise concerns about this or any other premises, they should report these to Worcestershire Regulatory Services -enquiries@worcsregservices.gov.uk.”
Cllr Altaf said: "They do have parties and have live music on the weekends, but the business can do that.
"The fireworks were at Christmas time, but if there were fireworks recently, I would put a stop to it because of the noise.
"If residents have any issues, please contact the landlady or me."
Worcester News has contacted Cllr Altaf for an updated comment on the investigation into his property and is still awaiting a response.
