A 41-YEAR-old man who pushed and slapped his wife faces another week of waiting to learn his fate.
Rafal Cwiklinski, of Newton Road, Worcester, appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court expecting to be sentenced.
As previously reported the 41-year-old had never accepted his guilt and put his wife through a trial.
During the trial, the victim, Ewelina Cwiklinski, took to the witness box and told magistrates the push and slap to her face took place at their Worcester home on October 16 last year after he had been drinking.
"I'm afraid of him when he is drunk," she told the court.
His sentence for assault by beating was previously delayed so Cwiklinski could complete a pre-sentence report.

At the start of the latest hearing on Tuesday, (March 21), magistrates heard that Cwiklinski, who defended himself, had not had time to read his report.

The court clerk told Cwiklinski, through a Polish interpreter, that his case would have to be delayed to give him time to read the report.
Mark Armstrong, chairman of the magistrates bench, told Cwiklinski to return to the court on March 28, when his sentence would take place.
Cwiklinski's bail, which includes the conditions he must not contact the victim directly or indirectly and not go into the Worcester street where the victim lives, was renewed on the same terms.
