A 28-YEAR-old woman denies an offence of being in charge of a vehicle when her alcohol level was above the limit.
Sophia Carini-Morgan is accused of being in charge of a Renault Clio in Windermere Drive, Warndon Villages, when the alcohol in her breath was above the legal limit of 35mcg in 100ml of breath.
However, she says she had no intention of driving the car.
The prosecution alleges the offence took place on Sunday, February 26.
Carini-Morgan, of Clayfield Drive, Malvern, denied the charge earlier this month, appearing at Worcester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, (March 28), for a case management hearing.
Jason Patel, defending Carini-Morgan, said the defendant was arguing she had no intention of driving the vehicle.

Eleanor Peart, prosecuting, said she agreed with the defence the trial would take two hours in total.

Susan Mitchell, chairman of the magistrates bench, told Carini-Morgan to return to the court on June 28 for her trial.
Carini-Morgan was given unconditional bail.
