An appeal has been launched after a red car was stolen from a Worcester road.

Volkswagen Golf was taken from Midland Road on Sunday afternoon. 

Police are urging anyone with information about the theft, which happened between 4.30pm and 9.30pm to contact them via their online Tell Us About form on their website, quoting incident number 00573_I_19032023. 

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We are also encouraging the community to call us on 101 if they see anyone acting suspiciously around a vehicle.

"If you ever feel at risk, or a crime is in progress, please always dial 999."
