A STOLEN car has been recovered after a spate of thefts of older models of the same vehicle with the reason for the thefts still a mystery.
Vauxhall Corsas have been stolen from across the region, including in Droitwich and Evesham.
However, one of the cars, a 2014 model stolen in Evesham, has now been found in a different part of the town - Codling Road, Evesham.
West Mercia Police is still investigating why 2014 Vauxhall Coras are being stolen as part of a regional trend.
One 2014 Corsa was stolen from Percheron Way, Droitwich on Saturday, March 4 and another 2014 model from Badsey Lane, Evesham in the early hours of yesterday (Thursday) - the car since recovered.

The Evesham 'car key burglary' involved forced entry through a back door, the keys to the car being stolen followed by the car itself.
DI Dave Knight of South Worcestershire Proactive CID said: "It forms part of a wider picture where older Corsas are being targeted," he said.
The advice from West Mercia Police remains to contact 999 in the event of a burglary in progress.
