We take a look in our archives at Kays Catalogues, founded in Worcester in 1889.
From curtains to bed linen, trainers, jewellery and the latest fashion - Kays had it all.
Sadly in February 2007, Kays original depot in the city closed.
The closures were part of the work to amalgamate Kays and Littlewoods under the new brand name Shop Direct.
Ultimately, Kays became part of Littlewoods at the end of July 2015.
This week, the future of some of the Kays Heritage Collection was thrown into doubt after a decision to destroy an old university building where it has been stored.
Bernard Mills, of the Kays Heritage Group, said he was told a new home would be needed for the archive, which he has been collecting for years.
