BALL BEARINGS being shot at windows and cars, drug problems and loitering at supermarkets are plaguing people in Pershore, says a councillor.
The anti-social behavioural issues being faced in Pershore have been highlighted after police confirmed they were "working hard to tackle" the behaviour.
Cllr Dan Boatright, Pershore county councillor, said: "We have a massive issue with ball bearings being shot at windows and cars in Pershore recently.
"We are also aware of issues surrounding young people and drugs and also anti-social behaviour surrounding the Asda as well.
"It is most certainly a small minority of young people in Pershore but their actions are grouping young people together as causing an issue."
Earlier this month, police confirmed that they were looking into reports of homes and vehicles being 'shot at' in Charlton, between Evesham and Pershore.

PCSO Rebekah Ashley highlighted the anti-social behaviour issues saying police have now "taken action."
She said: "We are working hard to tackle anti-social behaviour in Pershore Town. Following reports of youths causing issues to local residents, we have taken action.
"If you are experiencing problems with anti-social behaviour, or have any concerns about it, or other community safety issues, you should contact your local council or report this to us online.
"The police, local authorities and other community safety partner agencies, such as Fire & Rescue and social housing landlords, all have a responsibility to deal with anti-social behaviour and to help people who are suffering from it."
According to the police, anti-social behaviour covers a wide range of unacceptable activity that causes harm to an individual, to their community or to their environment.
This could be an action by someone else that leaves you feeling alarmed, harassed or distressed.
It also includes fear of crime or concern for public safety, public disorder or public nuisance.
Cllr Boatright praised the work of the police but said he believes more officers are needed.
He said: "Our police are brilliant but there is simply not enough people working in the police force in the area.
"I have also noticed that officers get moved to new areas often which is frustrating as you get to know people and the next minute they are moved on to somewhere else.
"The situation has improved thanks to a lot of campaigning from councillors but I think there is most certainly a resourcing issue."
