A 29-year-old man has been charged with drug dealing offences after police swooped on a canal towpath in the city.
Alonzo Standfield was arrested on the canal near Shrub Hill, Worcester, on Wednesday at around 2pm. Police have now confirmed he has been charged with drug and criminal property offences.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Alonzo Standfield, a 29-year-old from Lower North Street in Walsall has been charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and possessing criminal property (cash).
"He has been remanded to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court today."
