A MAN has been arrested following a crash on the M50 which saw a Transit van flipped onto its roof.
West Mercia Police said the arrest was made after the crash in which a Transit van flipped and hit the central reservation on the M50 between junctions one (Tewkesbury) and two.
The man was arrested on suspicion of having no tax or insurance.
The accident happened at 10am heading westbound on the M50, and a person has also been taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital with abdominal injuries.
A West Mercia Police Spokesperson said: "The accident happened about 10am today on the M50 westbound between junctions one and two.
"It appears to be a one vehicle RTC involving a Transit van headed from the M5 in the direction of Ross on Wye.
"The vehicle slid and ended up on its roof, hitting the central reservation in the process.
"The vehicle, which had a few flat pack sheds on the back, blocked lane one. Lane two is back open, but Lane one still blocked.
"One man was arrested.
"One was also taken by ambulance to Worcestershire Royal Hospital with abdominal injuries."

No other vehicle was involved in the crash.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service has not attended the scene, and West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed it was being handled by the South Western Ambulance Service.
