A special episode of a TV show will be dedicated to a Worcester paramedic following her death.
Tonight’s 999 On The Frontline, which is being shown on More 4 at 9pm, is dedicated to Christine Gill.
The episode shows the care and compassion she showed to her patients and colleagues at West Midlands Ambulance Service.
A Facebook post by the ambulance service has attracted dozens of tributes from people who knew Christine and from fans of the TV show.
One person said: “Shocking news, she showed your service in a fantastic light. RIP Christine.”
Another added: “Shocked and saddened to see this. She was one of my favourites on the show. Condolences to her family and friends.”
One commenter said: “So sorry to hear this. You all do a hard, amazing job and I will always be grateful for what you do.”
999 On The Frontline follows ambulance crews from around the West Midlands, showing in real time the wide range of cases they attend to.
