A CARE HOME in Droitwich has thanked key workers in a unique way.
Woodland View care home has been giving back to its key workers by making them weekly breakfasts.
The home on Woodlands Way, Droitwich, has been running a Blue Light Breakfast every Friday between 10am and 11.30pm.
Staff and residents in the care home welcome key workers to enjoy a breakfast sandwich, a hot drink and a chat as a thank you for their work in the community.
On the launch day of the Blue Launch Breakfast in February, members of the White Watch at Droitwich Fire Station paid a visit to the home.

A spokesperson said: "We felt very much welcomed by the staff and residents at Woodland View and loved having a brew and a sandwich."

The Blue Light Breakfast can also educate residents over a coffee and chat.
The spokesperson added: "It was great to get out and spread the home fire safety advice to staff and residents as well.
"Thank you for having us."
100-year-old resident, Edna ‘Noddy’ Warner, was delighted to meet the White Watch and especially enjoyed seeing the fire engine.
She said: "It was lovely to meet and greet some of the firemen and for them to sit with us for a while.

"Seeing the fire truck up close was very exciting."
Woodland View said it looks forward to welcoming more key workers to its Blue Light Breakfast in the coming weeks.
Ilze Careless, the Regional Director at Woodland View, said: "We are so grateful to our emergency service workers, who do such an amazing job keeping our community safe. This is our way of thanking them and showing them our gratitude."
The care home has previously welcomed celebrity guests through its doors.
Alison Hammond, best known for presenting This Morning on ITV, was swarmed by fans at the home in September when she visited their Macmillan coffee morning.
People from across Worcestershire came to meet Hammond, and the event kicked off with the presenter cutting a green ribbon at the entrance of the care home.
