SOME teachers across Worcestershire are taking part in a fresh set of strikes on Wednesday (March 15). 

The walkouts began on March 1 and have so far seen several teachers striking across the county. 

Members of the National Education Union (NEU) voted for industrial action as disputes over pay continue.

Strike action will be taking place across Worcestershire on Wednesday (March 15) and Thursday (March 16). 

 We've put together a list of which schools will be fully and partially closed during the strike action. 

Parkside Middle School in Bromsgrove and St Egwin's CE Middle School in Evesham will be fully closed on both days during the strike action.

Witton Middle School in Droitwich is also fully closed due to strike action. 

The following schools will be partially closed in Worcestershire

School Closures: Wednesday, March 15

Red Hill CE Primary School, Worcester - Only classes 5LB, 1HT, RKR (RLJ) & 6EH

Nunnery Wood Primary School, Worcester - Spruce, Sycamore, and Mulberry are closed with the exception of the children in receipt of free schools, have an EHCP, or have a social worker.

Stanley Road Primary School, Worcester - School is partially closed to Nursery, Violet, Sapphire, Blue, Green , Yellow and Red classes.  All others remain open.

Vale of Evesham School, Evesham - School will be partially closed. Places have been allocated for vulnerable pupils. Parent/Carers have been contacted if allocated a place. Packed lunch has been sent home for free school meals.

Hindlip CE First School, Droitwich - Open only for those pupils deemed vulnerable on 15.3.23.

Walkwood CE Middle School, Redditch - Walkwood is open only for Year 5 and Year 6, along with MAB pupils. Years 7 and 8 will have home learning via ePraise. 

Westlands First School, Droitwich - Reception Class (Kings) will be closed but the rest of the school will be open as usual.

Woodfield Academy, Redditch - School is open for Year 6 only

St Bede's Catholic Middle School, Redditch - Closed to KS3 pupils, KS2 pupils to be in school as normal
