TECHNICAL issues have halted work at a major Worcester road which was due to be closed for almost two weeks
Newtown Road has reopened this morning (Tuesday) after technical issues caused CityFibre roadworks to be suspended.
However, Worcestershire County Council's Highways and Travel Team said the work is likely to resume in a "few days".

CityFibre was due to carry out ducting work on Newtown Road starting from Monday, March 13.
The road was to be closed between Sheriff Street and Shrub Hill Road until Friday, March 24.
CityFibre is investing £21m to bring better digital connectivity to Worcester.
