A TODDLER was rescued by firefighters after being trapped in a car in Worcester.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called to Nunnery Way on Monday, March 13, after a 19-month old child became trapped in a car.
A spokesperson said the child was safely freed from the car and was returned to the safety of their parents.
They said: "We were called shortly after midday and we deployed a crew from Worcester Fire Station.
"We used Packexe and glass management to safely gain entry to the car.
"The 19-month old child was released and was returned to the safety of their parents."
According to the Packexe wesbite, the rescue range from Packexe is designed to make vehicle extrication faster and safer for casualty and crew.
