An Italian pop-up restaurant is among the businesses given a five-star hygiene rating in Worcester.
Compari Pasta is a street food business started last year by Ivan Pullano and Emanuele Giorgino.
“We started doing pasta - now we’re doing pizza and all sorts of Italian street food,” said Ivan, who met Emanuele when the two worked together at Carluccio’s before it closed down.
“He was a chef and I was front of house. We’re both passionate about food and have had some really good comments - people really seem to like it.
“And now we’ve got the five star hygiene rating, which is another good thing.

“We’ve got some big events coming up this year including the Sunsine Festival and the Three Counties Show, as well as a wedding in May.”
On the first weekend of the month you can also find Compari Pasta at the Sociable Beer Company in Brittania Road.
Food hygiene ratings are judged by Worcestershire Regulatory Services inspectors over standards in the handling of food, how food is stored, how food is prepared, cleanliness of facilities and pest control, how food safety is managed and evidence staff know about food safety.
