DRIVERS have been warned to take care on the road as gritters head out with more snow and freezing temperatures expected.
Worcestershire Highways and Ringway are telling people to stay safe while out after forecasts predict temperatures to fall to -0.4C and between 2cm and 4cm snow to fall.
The weather is scheduled to become milder this afternoon, with any remaining sleet generally turning to rain showers, and there will be some thawing of lying snow.
It is expected to remain cloudy with occasional rain, but also some drier weather.
