A number of schools in Worcestershire have announced they are not opening today because of the snow.
Schools listed on the Worcestershire Children's First website give "continuous snow and freezing temperatures" as the official reasons for the closure, and express concern about hazardous road conditions.
Bayton Primary School in Bewdley, Clifton-upon-Teme Primary School in Martley, Lindridge St Lawrence's Primary School in Tenbury and Welland Primary School, near Malvern, are all closed today (Thursday, March 9).
Fort Royal Primary School, Great Malvern Primary School, Northleigh Primary School, St Joseph's Primary School in Malvern, Suckley School, and Tenbury High are also closed.
Abberley Parochial Primary School, Dyson Perrins Academy, Great Malvern Primary, The Chantry School, Wyche Primary School and The Chase have joined the schools announcing closures this morning.
