On February 22 Sheward returned to Aldi taking alcohol worth £33.58.
On March 5 Sheward burgled Papa's Cafe in New Street stealing cash and a tlll drawer to the value of £150.
Sheward was also sentenced for an offence of going equipped for theft. That related to him being caught with wire cutters on February 15.
All the offences were committed while Sheward was serving a suspended jail sentence.
Magistrates jailed Sheward for a total of 49 weeks at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday, (March 7).
We previously reported Sheward was meant to be sentenced last month but at that court hearing Worcester magistrates heard a pre-sentence report had not been completed.
This was because Sheward had not attended an appointment with the probation service after getting his dates confused, and going to the rehabilitation service Cranstoun instead.

Sheward, who has previous convictions for robbery, battery, and assault, has appeared numerous times in the Worcester News including stealing £56,000 worth of silverware from St Andrew's Church, Droitwich, and burgling Worcester Warriors' Sixways Stadium stealing televisions.
Those offences had all taken place in a single week in 2018.
That same year Sheward refused to participate in a court hearing because a Worcester News reporter was in the courtroom.
