AN UPSET mum has spoken of her disgust at a crowd of people who filmed and 'egged on' an alleged attack on her teenage daughter.

The worried mum arrived at Farmers Way, in Droitwich, to see her distraught daughter crying in the back of an ambulance.

She said the 14-year-old daughter is now too embarrassed to go to school after a video of the incident was shared online.

The mum, who asked to remain anonymous, said: "I drove up to Westlands estate and saw my daughter in the back of an ambulance crying.

"She was confused and unaware of what happened."

The teenage girl was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital after also suffering a seizure.

She was treated for injuries not believed to be serious.

Her mum said she has shocked at what she saw on the video and claims people were 'egging on' the alleged attacker.

Her daughter bit her tongue because of the seizure and was left with cuts, grazes and bruises to the head.

Police officers have been out to visit the family following the incident near the Costcutter shop.
