A PERSON was injured after a car crashed into a parked car on a main road in Worcester.
The casualty was treated by West Midlands Ambulance Service after the crash on London Road this morning (Wednesday).
Firefighters and West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) were called to the road at 5.48am this morning, (March 1).
Firefighters from Worcester made the car safe.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service was called out to make vehicles safe after a road traffic collision in Worcester.
“One crew from Worcester Fire Station attended the scene on London Road between Foxwell Street and the railway bridge.
“Police were also in attendance at the incident involving two cars.
“One vehicle was smoking and the crew made the car safe.
“No people were trapped and one man in his 20s was left in the care of the ambulance service.
Firefighters left the scene just after 6am.
A WMAS spokesperson said: "We sent one ambulance to the scene where, on arrival, crews discovered one car had been involved in a collision with a parked car.
"One male patient was treated by paramedics for minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment and was discharged at the scene."
At 9.30am a heavily damaged red Audi was in the road.
The rear bumper had come off the car, dragging on the floor, while there was also debris nearby.
A 'Police Aware' sticker, informing members of the public West Mercia Police knew about the vehicle, was also on display in the rear window.
