A 23-YEAR-old man has admitted breaching his sexual harm prevention order but denies making indecent images. 

George Howen, of Chequers Lane, Wychbold, near Droitwich, entered pleas to the charges when he appeared in front of city magistrates.

Howen pleaded guilty to the breach of the order.

That charge relates to Howen downloading dating apps, which he was prohibited from doing so, in Worcester on October 19, 2021. 

Howen denied the indecent images charge.

The prosecution alleges, between July 11, 2017 and October 19, 2021, Howen downloaded two category A images - the highest level identified within the sentencing guidelines.

It is also alleged Howen downloaded two category B images, one category C image and one prohibited image of a child. 

Nicola Davies, chairman of the magistrates bench, told Howen to attend the next hearing of the case at Worcester Crown Court on March 29. 

Howen was given unconditional bail. 

Adam Wieczezak prosecuted while Amber Morrell defended Howell during the hearing which took place at the court on Monday, (February 27).
