TWO people have been arrested after a man was left in a critical condition following an assault in a Worcester estate.
A 29-year-old man was left seriously hurt and in hospital after an alleged attack in Exeter Road at 5.15am this morning (Sunday).
Shocked neighbours in Ronkswood said they were concerned when they woke up to a large police presence outside their homes.
Police officers were seen looking in bins and police dogs were sniffing along hedges as marked and unmarked police cars and vans filled the streets.
Other officers wearing white suits and face masks could also be seen going in and out of flats on the road while police tape was placed across a gate.

Officers have been going door-to-door along the streets asking people if they saw anything and if they have any CCTV which may help their investigation.
A couple sleeping in their living room for health reasons said they woke up to noises and “flashing lights everywhere”.
They added they saw seven police cars, two ambulances, and a large number of police at 5am.
West Mercia Police said two people – a man aged 46 and a 40-year-old woman – have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH).
One eyewitness said: "I drove past with my wife earlier, and that's when we saw one of the police dogs sniffing around the hedges."
Another resident said police have been speaking to people in the area.
"They've questioned everyone, all the neighbours at least twelve houses down.
"They've been asking if they have seen anything."
At 12pm today, marked and unmarked police cars were still in the estate, along with police dogs and officers wearing white suits and masks going into a block of flats.
