OVER a dozen police officers swooped into a quiet street in St Peters, according to neighbours.
A teenager was believed to be injured at the end of Springfield Road.
One eyewitness at the scene counted 16 police officers present, and a resident said they counted nearly six police cars in the area at 8.30pm last night (February 24).
Multiple residents said they were 'concerned' and 'worried' about what they saw.
Neighbours also said they heard shouting in the street.
Worcester News has tried multiple times to contact West Mercia Police and is still waiting for a response.
West Midlands Ambulance Service has also been contacted.
More updates on the story are expected soon.
One resident said: "There were lots of police present, and it looked like someone was injured - it was very worrying.
"There were at least 16 officers, a police van and many cars and dogs."
Another resident added: "Just on the bend of the road, two police cars had blocked it off.
"Police were in the street arresting a youth.
"Police were also heading into the park with torches."
