A 42-YEAR-old man has been ordered to do unpaid work after getting involved in a verbal altercation.
Darren Leeming, of Acton Beauchamp, near Malvern, admitted an offence of using threatening, abusive, insulting words, behaviour to cause harassment, alarm, distress.
The offence took place in Herefordshire on October 23, 2012, the court heard.
Ian Latimer, chairman of the magistrates bench, told Leeming he was receiving a 12-month community order requiring he complete 60 hours of unpaid work.

Leeming was also ordered to pay costs of £135 and victim surcharge of £95.
Leeming's offer to pay the £220 total in two instalments was accepted by magistrates.
He appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on Friday (February 17).
