PRICES may be rising across the country - but Subway customers were left in shock after it advertised a sandwich for over £900 on a delivery app.
A typo on the Deliveroo app has priced one of the Subway sandwiches at the Fernhill Heath branch on Droitwich Road at a staggering £929.
The plant-based steak usually costs £6.19 for a six-inch and £9.39 for a footlong on the delivery app.

The massive price rise was an error by the franchisee and a spokesperson for Subway said it would be rectified.
However, the mishap has left customers amused.
One regular Subway diner said: "I know the cost of living has gone up, but this a joke!
"£929 for a footlong!"
Replying to the comment on Facebook, another customer said: "I hope you did not pay that price yesterday."
While another shopper added: "It is plant-based as well."
A spokesperson for Subway said: “We are aware of a typo online regarding the pricing of the Plant-based Teriyaki Sub on the Deliveroo app for this restaurant.
"The franchisee has since been made aware of this, and they are currently in the process of rectifying the situation.”
According to Guinness World Record, the most expensive sandwich commercially available in the world is the "Quintessential Grilled Cheese", which sells for an eye-watering £132.64 at Serendipity 3 in New York, USA.
It would make the plant-based steak footlong the new record holder for the most expensive sandwich in the world - if it were not a typo.
However, other sandwich eaters used the opportunity to reflect on the general rise in the cost of sandwiches.

One said: "The price of it anyway is ridiculous!
"Could buy all the ingredients for the cost of it and make weeks worth yourself!"
But others decided to use the opportunity to practise their puns.
One said: "Living the vegan loca."
Within London, some of the most expensive sandwiches can range from £30 to a whopping £75, according to the Londonist.
Back in 2006, an £85 sandwich was on sale at the deli counter in the Londons Selfridges.
