A NEW pub coming to Worcester city centre has teased "Insta-worthy burgers" as work looks to be stepped up towards the summer.
In 2022, pub chain Davenports Brewery acquired the former Worcester Steak 'n' Grill House in The Cornmarket.
An opening date and a name have still not been confirmed, with a Davenports spokesperson saying their focus is temporarily shifted towards other venues.

They said: "We commenced work on the pub in the Cornmarket last year.
"We haven’t got an opening date as yet, as we have to assess all work and projects on the table and prioritise them, so the teams’ efforts have shifted focus temporarily towards those venues.
"But we’re hoping that work will step up several gears on the Cornmarket venue towards the summer.
"We’ve had a crazy start to the year with the acquisition of an award-winning pub in Penkridge and some other new venues up our sleeve, just 'crossing t’s and dotting the i’s’, so we literally started 2023 at top speed."
Worcester residents have been told that they can expect "Insta-worthy burgers and traditional pub dishes with a twist".
The spokesperson continued: "We will be serving up our award-winning menu of crazily good ‘Insta-worthy’ burgers and traditional pub dishes – some with a twist.
"Handcrafted cocktails should impress customers, and as one would expect from one of the oldest breweries in the UK, great ales.
"Our menu has helped us secure multiple best pub awards across prestigious foodie awards and tourism awards.
"There’s a focus on locally sourced ingredients where possible across the menu that changes with the seasons, and an eye across quality and presentation always."
The venue said that 25 jobs will be created at the new city centre location.

The venue previously opened as Francesca's in November 2019 and before that was called the Maltster, Bar 12 and the Slug and Lettuce.
It was listed for sale on March 2, 2021.
Davenports also owns and operates hotels, nightclubs, and event venues around the West Midlands region.
The Brewery was established in Birmingham in 1829, with Davenports' branded beer sold through online retailers and across pubs in the West Midlands.
