TEMPORARY traffic lights have been added to the ongoing roadworks at a busy Droitwich junction.
The two-way lights at the Copcut Junction which connects the A38, with Copcut Lane, Pully Lane and the Copcut Roundabout, will remain in place until 3.30pm tomorrow (February 17).
The temporary traffic light system is in place to allow Worcestershire County Council maintenance teams to fell elm trees to ground level as they are falling distance from the layby, footpath and highway.
Worcestershire County Council said the traffics will be removed when they are not in use or when work has been completed.
Currently, there are also other roadworks which are happening at the Copcut junction that have been in place for five months.
Worcestershire County Council has been reviewing the road marking and conducting an emergency lane closure at the junction since September 29 last year.
These are hoped to be completed by February 28 at 3.30pm.
