A 70-year-old woman has died after being hit by a car in a Worcestershire village.
West Mercia Police said the woman died at the scene of the crash in Malvern Road, Powick, on Wednesday, February 15.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses to the crash, which involved a black BMW car and happened at about 6.45pm.

PC Mark Hyett, Operations Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts are very much with the families involved.

Ambulance crews battled to save woman hit by car
Police officers, two ambulances, a paramedic officer and two Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Cars and a BASICS emergency doctor attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Crews arrived to find the pedestrian, an elderly woman, to have sustained life-threatening injuries. Ambulance staff administered advanced life support to her at the scene.

"Unfortunately, despite the best efforts it became clear that nothing more could be done to save her and she was confirmed deceased at the scene.
“The driver of the car did not require treatment.”
