Update: Mystery of police cavalcade revealed
A cavalcade of police cars has been spotted twice in and around Worcestershire this afternoon.
Several marked police cars appear to be escorting two Range Rovers, which were heading towards Hartlebury Castle at around 1.30pm.
Stephen Griffin, who saw the cars heading towards Hartlebury Castle, said: "I’d speculate that someone of note was being ferried to an appointment/appearance.
"Perhaps a politician or royal?
"Didn’t notice any flags."
But Mr Griffin said he could not see who was in the car as they were moving too quickly.
However, he did upload a video of the cars on his Twitter account, Stephen_Griffin.

The cars were spotted again near the Sixways roundabout in Worcester at around 2.30pm.
A second driver said the traffic at the roundabout was held for about two minutes in order for the cars to pass.
Worcester News has contacted West Mercia Police.
