PEOPLE in balaclavas have been spotted prowling the streets of Droitwich as police say they have seen a slight rise in crime across the weekend.
Worried residents have reported seeing people in balaclavas suspiciously in several areas of the two.
One person claimed: "Huge warning.
"The are three individuals going around in balaclavas attempting to rob houses, flats and cars.

"They have been spotted on Mayflower Road, Charles Henry, in town, the lido park and the Chawson area over the last few days.
"Keep your doors and garages locked and your cars.
"Stay safe. I hope these individuals are caught soon."
In response to the fears, sergeant Sarah Kent said: "I can also confirm that we had a report of two people seen acting suspiciously wearing balaclavas in the Cockshute Hill area of Droitwich in the early hours of February 13.
"We need people to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity."
DI David Knight of South Worcestershire Proactive CID said there has been a slight increase in crime across Droitwich over the weekend.
Two catalytic converters were stolen in the Ledwych and Vines Lane area, and police seized a car and a “Rambo-style” knife from the Chawson Pleck area on Friday (February 10).

A teenage boy from the Droitwich area was arrested for possessing an offensive weapon.
In Vines Lane and George Bayliss Road, there were also two attempted burglaries on commercial properties, and a car had its window smashed on Dovecote Road on Sunday (February 12).
A commercial property was broken into on Stalls Farm Road on Monday evening (February 13).
It is unknown if these incidents are connected with the people spotted in balaclavas.
DI Knight said: "Droitwich has seen a slight increase in criminality over the past weekend.
"Members of the public are asked to continue to share their concerns with police and continue to contact us if they are witnessing a crime in progress on 999, and we will attend."
