A MAN has been taken to hospital after he was found with injuries in Worcester during the early hours of Saturday morning. 

The man, who is believed to be in his 30s, was found with head injuries at the corner of Sidbury and Wyld's Lane at around 5.40am. 

He was wearing a yellow high-visibility coat and it is unclear how the man came to suffer his injuries.

West Mercia Police has appealed for witnesses and would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen anything suspicious.

A spokesperson from police said: "Can you help after man in Worcester found with head injury?

"At around 5.45am Saturday 11 February a man in his 30’s was found with a head injury at the corner Sidbury and Wylds Lane in Worcester."
