However, despite a search officers could not locate any dogs matching the description. The report, which police responded to, said the two dogs were not accompanied by their owner or owners.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Police responded to concerns that two American bully dogs were loose and being aggressive in the area of The Tything. On attendance, no dogs could be found. No one was injured."
The American Bully is a modern breed of dog that was developed as a companion dog, and originally standardized and recognized as a breed in 2004 by the American Bully Kennel Club.
Their published breed standard refers to the dog as giving the "impression of great strength for its size".
