TWO arrests have been made for drugs and weapons offences as police swooped on a McDonald's drive-thru this morning.
The men were stopped at the McDonald's drive-thru in Blackpole Retail Park, Blackpole, Worcester.
The drive-thru had to be closed temporarily while drugs were seized and a large knife.
The sting was part of a targeted operation to sever the flow of drugs and weapons into Worcester and put suspected County Lines dealers out of business.
A sniffer dog called Alfie found the suspected class A drugs.
DI Dave Knight said: "This was a pre-planned operation between South Worcestershire Proactive CID County Lines team and the Operational Patrol Unit."
Two men, one from Worcester and one from Kidderminster have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
One was also arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon - a knife found in the car.
