A COUPLE has spoken of their shock at waking up to find a stranger in their top-floor flat - and say he was soon arrested on suspicion of burglary.
The 33-year-old man, who lives in the top-floor flat with his pregnant partner, says the suspect climbed into their home in Broad Street, Worcester on Saturday (February 4) through a window.

We have already reported how a crime scene investigation unit van was parked outside the flats at noon yesterday.
Efforts were made to contact West Mercia Police about the incident but the force duty inspector declined to comment and nobody from the press office was available to shed further light on what happened.
The warehouse worker, who wished to be known only by his first name of Backary, explained that he lived at the flat with his pregnant wife, who is now close to her due date, brother-in-law and sister.
He explained his wife had been sick and so, after cleaning up, he opened a window to let it dry.
He said the man entered the flat through the window at 4.30am and he was alerted by his brother-in-law shouting "there's somebody upstairs".
Backary said he opened the toilet door to see his brother-in-law preventing the intruder from leaving.
He also pointed out dirty fingerprints on a wall in a corridor opposite the window which he said the man had left behind.
There were also traces of powder marks on the window sill from where West Mercia Police had carried out a forensic investigation, he said, praising the force for their 'professionalism'.
"He came in through this window. I was shocked. I have been here for almost four years. It never happened. Police came here and took fingerprints," he said.
Backary said the man was escorted to the living room until police arrived and then arrested on suspicion of burglary. We have yet to have this confirmed by West Mercia Police.
"We started asking questions like 'how did you get here?' He said he was homeless. I said 'don't you know people live here?'
"He said he was 'exploring or on an adventure'. It's mad. It's crazy. I was thinking about protecting my family. My brother-in-law stood in the doorway so he could not get out," he said.
