A DOMESTIC abuser has been jailed again after persistently breaching a restraining order including by threatening a victim and disclosing a private picture of her.
His Honour Judge Nicholas Cartwright told Billy Watts, of Ombersley Road, Worcester, his lengthy record of previous offences was a serious aggravating factor in his case.
The 26-year-old previously admitted breaching the restraining order; disclosing a private sexual photograph; stalking and criminal damage - appearing on videolink from HMP Hewell to Worcester Crown Court on Friday, (February 3) to learn his fate.
David Iles, prosecuting, said Watts was made subject to a restraining order in 2021 which is due to run out next year.
But days after release from prison in December Watts breached it by phoning and meeting up with the victim.
Mr Iles said Watts' behaviour turned threatening at Christmas making a number of calls, saying he would "stamp all over her" and said the victim was going to need the police - a comment which made her frightened and scared.
The prosecutor said on New Year's Eve, Watts sent a private photograph of a sexual nature of the victim to her friend, which had caused her "embarrassment and shame".
And on January 2, Watts had gone to the victim's house and broke a Ring doorbell.
The court heard Watts' previous convictions included battery, possession of a knife, harassment, breaching a non-molestation order and making malicious communications.
Mr Iles added Watts was recalled to prison due to the latest offences.
Jason Patel, defending, explained Watts had been in a relationship with the victim for five years and she had wanted to rekindled the relationship.
"They spent Christmas Eve together," Mr Patel said.
"After having presents she goes silent on him."
Mr Patel stressed the image had not been shared on social media but to her close friend.

"It was quickly deleted," Mr Patel said.
"She (the friend) had screengrabbed it."
He explained Watts had gone to the house and an automated message from the Ring doorbell played as she didn't answer, leading to him striking it with his elbow in frustration.
Mr Patel said: "He doesn't want to have any contact with her.

"It is the final straw."
The solicitor added, on release, Watts had said he wanted to stay away from Worcester.
Sentencing Watts, Judge Cartwright said: "You have a history of serious breaches of court orders."
He jailed Watts for 18 months.
The judge also handed Watts a new restraining order, preventing any contract with the victim, which is to last 10 years.
We have previously reported on Watts in cases where he has beaten up a girlfriend and threatened to kill her, and breached a restraining order by ringing his ex in front of a custody sergeant at Worcester Police Station - claiming he was ringing his aunt.
