There is plenty going on across Worcestershire and Herefordshire this February half term.

We have rounded up some of the best events and activities taking place at National Trust properties in the two counties.

Clent Hills

Get out into nature at the Clent Hills and enjoy the views and fresh air. The hills are a place where imaginations can run wild. Why not pick up a ‘50 things to do before you're 11¾’ leaflet at the Nimmings Wood car park and see how many you can tick off on your next visit?

Croome

Characters from past and present will be sharing their happy places in unique locations across Croome’s parkland.

Let children become explorers and adventurers by following paths to look for each character and maybe they’ll find somewhere which feels like their own happy place.

Hanbury Hall & Gardens

Can you help the team find the Curious Critters hidden around the house and gardens?

Learn more about the critters that can be found at Hanbury Hall, and the damage they can cause.

Take a closer look at different creatures under a magnifying glass, and colour in your own critter to take home. Explore Hanbury Hall’s historic parkland on a wintry walk and choose from three way-marked routes while admiring the Worcestershire countryside.

Berrington Hall & Gardens

Families can use their senses to get to know the gardens at Berrington Hall in the garden explorers’ trail.

From the sounds of birdsong to the smell of herbs, there’s always more to experience around the gardens at Berrington. Visitors can also entertain little ones with dressing up in the mansion or have some fun in the play area in the woodland.

Take part in the winter wildlife trail and find out all about the different animals that visit Brockhampton’s orchards and what they’ve been getting up to during these cold winter months.

Families can also explore the orchards on pushchair-friendly paths to find the different orchard play-rooms, and even climb aboard the Trow boat for some half-term fun.

Croft Castle & parkland

At Croft Castle this February half term, families can take a magical journey through the gardens in the enchanted forest trail.

They can discover the different creatures from British folklore who supposedly lived in the woodlands and forests around the British Isles and complete the different activities to win a prize.

The Weir Garden

At the Weir Garden, even in the winter months the garden is always full of life, which visitors can find out all about in the tales of the riverbank trail.

Families can follow the trail sheet around the gardens, spotting the different winter birds as they go.

Throughout the half-term holiday families can play in the natural play area, and on Wednesday, February 22 can have a go at making a bird feeder in the walled garden.
