Worcester schools closed or partially closed due to strikes

It has resulted in schools across Worcestershire having to close their doors or make changes to their day.

Here is a list of the schools that are closed, according to Worcestershire County Council.

Some schools may not be included in the list so please check with your child's school if it does not appear.

Catshill First School & Nursery, Bromsgrove - the school will be closed except for students who are CLA, CP, CIN or EHCP. Individual invites will be made to these students. FSM will be available for collection.

Partial School Closures in Worcestershire

Baxter College, Kidderminster - Year 11, Year 12, and Year 13 students are expected in school. School closed to Year 7 - 10 students incl. All vulnerable/critical worker children are invited to attend.

Birchensale Middle School, Redditch - School closed to Years 7 & 8 apart from a select number of identified key pupils. Years 5 & 6 will attend as normal.

Bredon Hancock's Endowed CE First School, Evesham - Year 1 and Year 4 is closed a.m. only. All other classes are open. Children in Years 1 & 4 can be brought into school for their lunchtime and afternoon lessons.

Haybridge High School & Sixth Form, Hagley - Year 7 and Year 11 will be in school Years 8, 9 and 10 will be at home and have remote work set on Edulink. Year 12 & 13 will be invited to use the study facilities

Hindlip CE First School, near Droitwich - Due to NEU Strike Action, the school will be open to Orange Class only and invited vulnerable pupils on 01/02/2023. FSM lunches will be provided as requested.

King Charles I School & Sixth Form Centre, Kidderminster - The school (Hillgrove site only) will be open for Year 11, Year 13, vulnerable students and children of critical workers.

Lickey Hills Primary School, Rubery - the school is open for pupils in Year 1, Year 2, both Language Base classes, all pupils with EHCP and invited vulnerable pupils.

Oak Hill First School, Redditch - please check ClassDojo for clarification. As notified packed lunches available for collection

Pinvin CE First School, Pershore - Only open to Pre-school and Year 3

St Bede's Catholic Middle School Redditch - the school will be open to Years 5 and 6 only on 01/02/2023

St Nicholas' CE Middle School, Pershore - open to some Year 6 and some Year 7 classes

The Bewdley School, Bewdley - Year 12 and Year 13 are expected in school. Years 7 to 11 will stay at home and learn online. Supervision in school is available for vulnerable/critical worker children.

The Stourport High School & VI Form College, Stourport - School closed to Years 7 - 10 incl. All vulnerable/critical worker children are invited to attend. Years 11, 12, and 13 in school.

Tudor Grange Primary Academy Perdiswell, Worcester - school will be closed to Year 1,3,4 &5 pupils. All other year groups are open, EHCP and invited vulnerable pupils. FSM lunches will be provided as requested.

Vale of Evesham School, Evesham - School will be partially closed due to NEU Strike Action. Places for vulnerable pupils have been allocated via individual invite. FSM packed lunches will be sent home with pupils.

Woodfield Academy, Redditch Strike Action - Only Open to Year 6 due to the high numbers of teachers in the NEU
