A HUGE fuel and oil spill on the M5 caused disruption as Hazmat officers were deployed to the scene of the emergency.
Fire crews specialising in hazardous materials had to be deployed to the M5 at Strensham, south of Worcester in the early hours of this morning.

A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Three crews – one each from Upton, Malvern and Droitwich Fire Stations – plus the incident command unit from Droitwich and a specialist Hazmat officer were called at 4.26am to a large fuel leak/spill at Strensham Services (North) on the M5.
"Crews found an HGV with a ruptured fuel tank.
"The incident was cordoned off and made safe while around 500 litres of fuel and engine oil was cleaned up and contained by fire service personnel using suction equipment with the vehicle’s fuel tanks also emptied.
"Crews remained on site at 7.29am.
"Police were also informed."
