A CRASH involving two cars closed Foregate Street this morning.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called to the crash to make the cars safe.
The road was temporarily closed while firefighters made the scene safe.
A spokesperson said: “Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service sent one engine from Worcester Fire Station to a road traffic collision in Foregate Street, Worcester.
“We were called out at 6.04am today (Thursday) to make the vehicles safe which was done by fire service personnel. Two vehicles were involved and no people were trapped.
“The road was temporarily closed by police.
“The incident was marked as closed at 7.51am.”

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "Police received a report of a two-car collision at just before 6am on January 26 in Foregate Street, Worcester.
"No one was injured in the collision."
