MCDONALD'S is focused on the "safety of people and customers" following anti-social behaviour issues at a restaurant in Worcester.

Earlier this week, a group of teenagers were banned from the McDonald's restaurant on the corner of Foregate Street and Angel Street after police were called.

A McDonald’s Spokesperson said they were aware of the issues surrounding the restaurant.

They said: “The safety of our people and customers is our absolute priority.

"We are aware of antisocial behaviour issues which are impacting the area surrounding the restaurant and we will continue to work closely with the police.”

West Mercia Police attended the incident on Monday, January 23 to speak to those involved.

A spokesperson said: "We received a call around 6.50pm reporting anti-social behaviour involving some teenage children.

"Police did attend and spoke to those involved and they were advised to leave the area.

"The teenagers were banned and advised not to return."
