Peak-time trains such as the 7.42am and 8.47am have been cancelled this morning due to the issue and morning commuters are having to find alternative routes.
Although the 9.34am from Worcester Foregate Street is currently running, passengers should expect delays.
A spokesperson from Trainline said delays are expected to last until 9.30am.
The spokesperson added: "You may be entitled to compensation if you experience a delay in completing your journey today.
"Please keep your train ticket and make a note of your journey, as both will be required to support any claim".
