A man has suffered 'a serious head injury' after police followed blood found in an alleyway to his house.
The blood was found in an alleyway in Stanway Close, Warndon, Worcester.
At this stage West Mercia Police have not made public to the Worcester News how he suffered the injury or whether any criminal investigation has been launched.

A spokesperson for the Warndon Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "Report of blood in an alleyway on Stanway Close raising concerns for the person injured. After extensive enquiries by Police, male was located at his home address with serious head injury and was taken to Hospital. #policingpromise
